About Us
The Village of North Hills was incorporated in 1929. The governing body of the Village is the Board of Trustees. There are five members of the Board of Trustees including the Mayor, the Deputy Mayor, and three Village Trustees. The Village election is held on the second Tuesday in June every other year and the Board of Trustees and the Village Justice are elected to four-year terms. The Board of Trustees meets on the third Wednesday of the month starting at 7:30 pm at Village Hall. The Village also has a Board of Appeals, a Planning Board, and an Architectural Review Board consisting of appointed officials. The Village Justice Court convenes on certain Mondays each month. The Associate Village Justice is an appointed official.
