A Message from the Mayor
During the past several months the first phase of the Ritz Carlton residences were completed and we welcome the new residents into our Village. North Hills has always been considered by many to be a premier residential community and now with the level of luxury services and extraordinary amenities offered in these residential condominiums our Village has attained an even high level of prestige.
The office building at the corner of New Hyde Park Road and the South Service Road is nearing completion. There will be a single tenant occupying the entire building. We have requested a further traffic study and once the building is completed and operational the NY State Department of Traffic will conduct same.
I would like to remind our residents that our Village tax remains the lowest of the 64 Villages in Nassau County. Unfortunately should the tax not be paid when due, we are forced under the law to file a tax lien. This substantially increases the cost to the resident that failed to pay. The penalty is far more severe that the actual tax. We therefore urge you to remit the tax when it is billed.
The Manhasset station shuttle has increased in use and we again remind commuters that parking at the Village Hall and the shuttle service are both provided without charge and is exclusively for Village residents.
Thanks again to Deputy Mayor Sgambati, Trustees Lentini, Arnold and Cohen for their constant assistance and efforts on behalf of our residents.
Mayor Marvin Natiss

Your responses to the survey are very important and will be used to inform and strengthen the Commissions' upcoming cable television franchise negotiations with Altice (formerly Cablevision) and Verizon. At stake is your village's ability to leverage cable company commitments to improve infrastructure, strengthen service delivery and provide the latest technologies available to modernize cable TV operations, enhance your in-home and/or business cable TV viewing and further develop the broadcast resources available to you through public access television.
