Welcome to North Hills

I hope this letter finds everyone well and enjoying the fall season. This time of year is a beautiful time to visit Lowell Kane Village Park on I. U. Willets Road to enjoy the end of the fall season in our “own backyard”. The park is available to Village Residents and their guests from dawn until dusk.

We are very proud of our new, re-designed and user-friendly Village of North Hills website. It will be well worth your time to take a few moments to familiarize yourself with our website content. The homepage has many useful features including convenient links, a calendar of events and search function. History buffs will enjoy the Village History content in the “About Us” section which is filled with fascinating facts and pictures of our by-gone era of Gold Coast mansions. Also included in the Village History section is a map showing the location of estates from 100 years ago.

The “Parks and Recreation” section of the website highlights our recently renovated Village Park as well as links to both Nassau County and Town of North Hempstead parks. Through-out the website you will find useful links to water districts, library districts, fire districts, utilities and more.

The “Residents” section of the website provides useful information regarding our shuttle service, FOIL requests, village services, voting, board applications and tax information.

The “Government” section of the website provides information about the building department including a link to the Village’s online building department portal where applications for building permits are submitted. This section also contains information about all of our village boards and the roles they play in village operation as well as information about our village clerk-treasurer’s office and village justice court.

Even though our village website is very comprehensive and useful, please do not hesitate to reach out to Village Hall via phone or email if you need help or answers regarding Village affairs.
